About that silly speech ...

Ed Morrisey reads Dear Leader's Address to the nation's young skulls full of mush and once finds more evidence of Obama's Narcissistic Personality Disorder

Although the Department of Education has shed the lesson plans to pledge unyielding support for Dear Leader (the teacher's unions have that covered anyway), his speech contains:

- 56 iterations of “I”
- 19 iterations of “school”
- 10 iterations of “education”
- 8 iterations of “responsibility”
- 7 iterations of “country”
- 5 iterations each of “parents”, “teachers”
- 3 iterations of “nation”

In other words, Barack Obama referenced himself more than school, education, responsibility, country/nation, parents, and teachers combined.

Lefties are saying, "Hey, Bush and Reagan made speeches to schoolchildren, so what's the big deal." This is the big deal: Reagan and Bush never cultivated the trappings of a fascist personality cult the way Obama has; the rallies in sports stadiums with thousands chanting party slogans, the children singing hymns to the dear leader, a fawning mass media made into a relentless propaganda machine for the regime. To anyone who isn’t a glassy-eyed cultist, all of this seems profoundly un-American. Obama has never told his followers to knock it off. Quite the contrary, he acts as though he feels entitled to it. The man is devoid of humility.

"Look in my eyes, what do you see?"

Nice Piece! Love the photo with Stalin, too!

The media lefties failed to understand that the speech itself was not the problem - it was the lesson plan that went with it. Trusting the teachers unions - who so dutifully turned out an entire generation of economically ignorant voters who got the Chosen One into office - is foolish.

Obama has another speech this evening that adults should be watching. The Teleprompter in Chief will employ the same five ( http://www.conservativeblog.thewebinfocenter.com/conservative-blog/health-care-reform-speech-obamas-top-five-tactics ) tactics that have only driven down support for health care takeover. Even CNN is starting to get bored with the same rerun.

Obamunism is a cult. How many people are going to drink the Kool-Aid?

another thought here... The photo with Stalin is appropriate. Obama has become the bully that he railed against during the campaign. SEIU thugs, media support and 'calling out' those that have a different viewpoint only drives up animosity among citizens. ( for more on this, you can hit: http://www.conservativeblog.thewebinfocenter.com/conservative-blog/pelosi-concern-over-public-discourse )

The speech did nothing and neither will taking the Obama Show on the road this Sunday. If anything, it will only drive animosity further up on the scale.
